Product Manager

Creavit has an outstanding opportunity for a talented "Product Manager" to lead our product development and management efforts.

Success story of the brand lasting for long years gathers speed through commencing to factory production in 1981. Çanakcılar Corporate Group also including Creavit expanding to foreign countries with its products, consists of Doxa and Armica offering services under its roof. Second generation “Çaydeğirmeni Production Plants" established in 2006 in an indoor area of 36.000m2 located in an open area of 80.000m2; having production plants of bathroom furniture, office furniture, bathtub, lavatory and kitchen faucets, built-in reservoir and toilet cover; meet all production of Creavit branded bathroom furniture, built-in reservoir and toilet covers and Doxa branded office furnitures and Armica branded faucets.

The Product Manager is responsible for the product lifecycle from conception to obsolescence, he/she will;

• Be reporting to the Marketing Manager and with regard to the products within the scope of responsibility,
• Develop long-term marketing plans for assigned product lines with the aims of improving sales revenue and contribution margin,
• Prepare annual marketing plans for assigned products,
• Lead the New Product Development of the category, work closely with Industrial Design team to design the product and with Product Engineering to close the technical features of the product, build business case for all New Products proposed to get Management Sign Off on Capital Budget, post approval work with Engineering and Plant team to launch products on time and on cost,
• Develop plans for introducing and discontinuing products in line with marketing group's long-range market objectives,
• Manage product prices (including those of spare parts), terms of sale and discounts recognizing out objectives and our competition,
• Conduct Market Research to understand the consumer behavior and industry trends to ensure that the category remains on the leading edge of technology and innovation,
• Become Subject Matter Expert on assigned product markets including a complete intelligence file on competitors' pricing, field activity, customer service channels of market distribution and end-user preferences. Become familiar with product materials, manufacturing, packaging, transportation and promotions,
• Relate and recommend changes in established market distribution and strategy as necessitated by market and consumer preferences,
• Coordinate the interpretation of plumbing codes and distribution of this information to the field sales organization,
• Conduct regular product briefing and training to sales team and provide technical back-up when necessary,
• Seek legal advice from corporate counsel to insure propriety of pricing mechanism, trademarks, product labeling, policies and contractual agreements.

• University degree in relevant Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or a relevant discipline, preferably holds an MBA
• Min 3 years of experience in brand/product management with a proven record of success
• Commercial awareness, and have a well-developed understanding of sales and marketing strategies
• Customer oriented in the competetive business environment
• Self-motivated, effective team player, leader, and coach
• Strong adaptation, collaboration skills and ability to take initiative,
• Excellent communication skills, intercultural competence in dealing with people
• Negotiating skills and the ability to network and influence people
• Able to work with and interact with a variety of people at all levels of the organization

• Strong analytical, technical and planning skills oriented towards delivering business results, able to work with data and make commercial assumptions and decisions
• Confident presentation style
• Fluent in English, proficient in MS Office,
• Aged below 35
• Have active driving license
• No travel restriction both domestic and abroad
• No military obligation for male candidates

• Preferably he/she should have strong product technical knowledge in building materials, particularly in faucets, sanitary ware or tiles
• Preferably he/she should be from similar industry; Paint, Glass, Cement, Sanitary ware, Fittings, Electrical Fixtures, Interiors, Kitchen Cabinets, Doors, Conceal wires, Elevators, Cables, Safety Equipment, AC, Tiles
• Preferably he/she should have experience in China
