Data Scientest

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Data Scientist  to join our highly academic team as they continue to disrupt the aviation industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who has had 3-5 years' experience as a Data Scientist who is able to work in project based environments and capable of liaising with both 

As a Data Scientist, you will be working on varied big data challenges, including work on data extraction using new and diverse Machine Learning techniques. You will be challenged daily as a Data Scientist as you build large data-sets, maintain machine learning models and work closely with the Engineering team. 

You can choose to work in any city specified in the advert (preferably)  or work from home completely!!

Work you'll do
Ability to train and tune a variety of machine learning models and artificial neural networks.
Feature engineering using domain knowledge
Perform data and error analysis in order to improve models and understand their shortcomings.
Deploy machine learning models used in large scale systems
Take ownership of the whole end-to-end machine learning systems - from data processing, training, optimization to real-time monitoring and maintenance
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in designing, developing and assessing new solutions using machine learning techniques, Natural Language Processing (NLP), deep learning and analytics
3-5 years in hands-on development experience with Java, JavaScript, Web Services, SQL or any other object-oriented programming languages
Background and experience working with leading AI computing commercial and open source platforms and libraries such as Python NLTK, PredictionIO, R, Spark, H2O.ai or Apache Mahout will be a plus
Demonstrated expertise in product and solution design, implementation and testing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Educational Requirements:
MS from a leading university in Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Engineering, Science or other quantitative discipline with specialization and experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing or other related areas.
