Start-up CTO/CPO

Expertera is a fast-growing start-up based in Istanbul, Turkey. We provide a curated on-demand expertise platform for our customers and experts. As CTO/CPO of our team, you’ll lead our team in developing and scaling our product even further while always playing a lead role in marketing the product.

Your Tech Role:

• Define Expertera’s product and tech strategy.
• Run daily and weekly sprints with the development team and motivate them to meet deadlines.
• Decide what project to work on next & manage those projects.
• Take part at meetings around UX and feedback from users.
• Always be on the lookout for new technology that can improve the user experience.
• Execute partnerships/deals to further improve product roadmap.
• Take decisions on future technology implementations.
• Machine learning implementations for Expertera platform.

Your Product Role: 

• Coding requirement, mostly on PHP, MySQL, In-memory caching systems, front-end skills and CRM solutions.
• Coordinate the functions of product design, product maintenance, and product improvement.
• Ensure that the product resonates with the customers and, therefore, boosting the product appeal to the customers & experts and in turn increasing the customer base and sales volume.
• Measure the results of projects and company and use this data intelligence to improve product roadmap & company strategy.
• Coordinate the local as well as international marketing communications, conferences, events, demos, press, and launches.
• Support the product’s exhibitions, making speeches and presentations at conferences, meetings, and events.
• Meet and interact directly with current and prospective internal/external customers in an effort to relay to them the product’s value and benefits while simultaneously sourcing feedback and assessing their reception and experience with the product.
