Finance Director

Allium Villas Resort Bodrum is the new luxurious resort of Yalıkavak, located less than 1500 meters from the exclusive Yalıkavak Marina. The resort is composed of 9 units, each housing between 4 to 8 rooms, and totaling 36 rooms and suites, and all built on a slope of the coastline, giving every room an uninterrupted view onto the Aegean Sea, and giving every guest a direct access to the private beach. The resort is designed with natural materials, with each room decorated with earth toned colors, and elegantly complemented with splashes of color throughout the room, creating a perfect hideaway to relax, unwind, and live exclusive memories. The resort has Ayva Restaurant serving Mediterranean Cuisine, Pergola Grill & Bar and The Beach Bar, both serving a wide selection of snacks and salads, an Mandalina Bar where guests will be able to enjoy their favorite sun downers, and of course 24 hour room service.

Summary of Responsibilities: 

• The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:
• To create and embrace the culture of business partnering by working with General Manager
• To develop and manage key relationships to provide financial support and understanding of short and long term financial plans To review financial performance of department/area, analysis of variances, forecasts and budgets.
• Challenge existing strategies and/or recommend alternate strategies to continually improve effectiveness of the business or financial management
• To assist other department heads in the development and implementation of "corrective action plans" on internal and external audit and operational reports
• To assist in the development and implementation of benchmarking techniques that will enable the hotel to enhance revenues while improving productivity and cost effectiveness
• To provide accurate and complete financial and management reports on a timely basis to hotel management, corporate office and owners in accordance with the company and ownership reporting requirements and policy
• In addition, the Director of Finance is responsible for reporting accurately and timely, the actual results as compared to budget/forecast results To oversee the financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
• To issue surrounding Accounting, Policy or Controls are reviewed with GM
• To develop, implement and monitor credit and collection procedures and guidelines pursuant to "adopted" corporate credit policies.
• To follow departmental policies and procedures
• To follow all safety policies
