A Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator will be responsible of payroll related processes and reports; support Human Resource related activities including recruitment, learning and development and training, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations initiatives.
What will I be doing?
As a Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator,you will be responsible of all payroll related processes and reports. In addition, you are responsible for all Human Resources Team Member related activities. These activities include recruitment, learning and development and training, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, health and safety, and other team-based activities. Specifically, a Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Assist the Human Resources Manager with the maintenance of accounting records and provide related financial reports for the hotels under the umbrella of the centralised accounting system
- Assist with the month end process, as it relates to payroll costs, and ensure all work is completed on time with all relevant accounts reconciled
- Input month end payroll and overtime accruals
- Ensure accuracy with the input of hours to payroll system
- Ensure Team Member pay queries are resolved on a timely basis
- Monitor actual hours to contracted hours - Ensure effective controls are in place over payroll expenses
- Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required
- Initiate recruitment activities using Taleo, the Company's talent management system
- Input data into the hotel payroll system and communicate with payroll to ensure accuracy
- Manage all Human Resources administration and onboarding activities
- Support Human Resources activities, including onboarding, work experience program, careers fairs, training materials and Team Member opinion surveys
- Serve as the point of contact for Team Member issues, advising the Human Resources Manager as appropriate
- Keep current with employment law, human resources policies, and training requirements
- Assist in determining training requirements and support training initiatives
- Assist in the organization of Team Member social events
