- Lead repair insertion projects per Repair Process Standard Work.
- Ensure that all statutory and Company’s regulations and standards relating to the maintenance, alteration and repair of engines and components are complied with and adhered to, and that any such work undertaken by company meet the standards required by the OEM, Regulatory and Customer.
- Responsible for the overall processes of repairs.Prepare technical work instructions and support operation department during engine part repair processes.
- Coordinate with OEM, Global Engineering and Technical Support to ensure that Repair Shop is utilizing the most current technical information and implementing Best Practices benchmarked across the global organization.
- Provide support and develop process improvement through innovative setup reduction, work simplification, tools/equipment design/modifications for repair shop.
- Actively support the quality and productivity improvement and repair cost reduction initiatives. Support Repair Cell Leader to meet business objectives.
- To help prepare and maintain general instructions and work instructions within the processes of the repair areas/cells based on engine and component manufacturer’s documentation.
- To find solutions to technical problems in connection with his/her responsibility field and to obtain approval from the authorities for any deviations from the manufacturer’s documentation.
- Support of repair tooling design and manufacturing.
- Support Purchasing and Quality to identify and regulate repair vendors.
- Perform OEM revisions to current ATD work instructions.
- Support production daily basis by troubleshooting and problem solving activities.
- Understand OEM maintenance documentations (EM, CMM, SB, RD s etc.)
Aranan Nitelikler
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering,
- Minimum 3 years of experience related with manufacturing and production environments in aviation and aerospace, automative, machinery industries,
- Familiarity with engine hardware repairs is an asset,
- Demonstrating innovative, initiative and proactive nature,
- Having strong communication skills in English,
- Open to improvement, challenge for results,
- Able to behave as a project leader,
- Able to work as a member of a team,
- Well organized habits and execution of multiple tasks in the same time,
- Able to understand and interpret technical drawings (ANSI / ISO),
- Proven Knowledge on GD&T,
- Familiar with Civil Aviation Regulations (EASA Part 145, FAR 43/145) is an asset,
- Knowledge on production methods (Turning, Drilling, Milling, Grinding, Machining etc.)
- Knowledge on welding & Joining discipline is preferred, Proof document/certification/ Training record is required,
- Knowledge on surface treatment processess (shot peening, glass bead peening, ceramic peening, vibro-polishing) is preferred.Proof document/certification/ Training record is required,
- Knowledge on Thermal Spraying Technologies (APS, Flame, HVOF) is an asset. Proof document/certification/ Training record is required,
- Knowledge on Metallurgy and interpretation of the material’s microstructure is an asset. Proof document/certification/ Training record is required,
- Knowledge on Heat treatment and curing process is an asset. Proof document/certification/ Training record is required,
- Knowledge on industrials processess (Paint, Composite bonding, blending is preferred. Proof document/certification/ Training record is required,
- Knowledge on Metrology and 3D CMM is an asset. Proof document/certification/ Training record is required,
- Advance level of Microsoft word, excel (Macro programming knowledge is not required), powerpoint knowledges are required,
- Project Management skills. Proof document/certification/ Training record is required (PMP or equivalent, background related with project management),
- Six sigma Green Belt is an asset. Proof document/certification/ Training record is required,
- Technicial problem solving skill is required. Proof document/certification/ Training record or background skill is required,
- CNC/NC programming knowledge is an asset. Proof document/certification/ Training record is required.
