Sales Support Engineer

The Sales Engineer will work in close cooperation with the sales and service teams to develop solutions involving Piovan products line. During the qualifying process, confirm that Piovan products meet the prospect’s requirements and assist sales and service engineering teams in technical qualification by providing drawings and technical specifications. Once the order has been acquired he/she will interface with Italian headquarter for order entry according to the specifications required. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.

Providing spare parts quotation to sales teams based on customer requirements Support sales teams in responding to RFQs (Request For Quotations) Maintain and organize sales engineering tools and equipment (flowsheets, daily CRM information updates, providing technical datasheet to the tech department, daily-weekly invoice inputs to excels in the local server system, etc.) Enter sales and spare parts orders to the local server system. Creating weekly import plans and informing Italy headquarters to prepare products and custom documents. Follow up for orders delivery and import and organizing the connection between logistics firm and customs clearance responsible that we work with.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Sciences (Mechanics or Electronics) or equivalent experience. • 2-3 years of experience in sales engineering for the machinery industry. • Excellent presentation skills. • Fluent in Turkish and English. • Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Technical Requirements:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (word, excel. PowerPoint) • Good knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus. • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work effectively within time constraints.
