We are looking for a Sourcing Engineer for our global company in mining industry located in Ankara.

Perform activities relating to the sourcing/procurement of technology equipment packages and components
Interact with Quality and related teams to achieve favorable commercial outcomes for the Company
Strive to achieve, global and market area objectives
Report progress relating to sourcing/procurement phases of tendering, execution and delivery
Perform commercial comparisons
Prepare contract documents and purchase orders, ensuring agreements are captured accurately
Undertake desktop expediting and factory visits to determine work progress and expedite deliveries
Read and understand drawings and scope
Provide sourcing/procurement service according to global and local project requirements
Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure proper performance of a supplier
Maintain invoice processing register and bank guarantee register
Follow up the QEHS rules and regulations,
Attend training and be familiar with related knowledge and skills in quality, environment, occupational health and safety (QEHS)
Report (potential) accidents in time if any

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent required; Post graduate studies in sourcing/procurement preferred.
Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the machine and/or plant engineering branch
Solid supply processes and practices understanding
General understanding of logistics and forwarding material, is of advantage
Strong negotiation and contractual skills
Strong communication skills, English language reading, writing and speaking at advanced level.
Self-motivated approach, ability to work independently and make decisions
Good planning and organizing skills and drive for results
A high level of computer skills is essential – SAP, MS-Office applications
Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
