PREMISES OFFICER


We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join our high performing team. This is a full time position. The premises officer will be responsible for the maintenance, security and overall upkeep of the school's facilities, ensuring a safe, clean and well maintained environment for students, staff and visitors. The role includes the management of the day-to-day operations of the school premises and support of ongoing improvements to the school's physical environment. 

BESA is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including reference checks with previous employers and a criminal records check.

The successful applicants will:
Demonstrate experience of premises and facilities management.
Be experienced at working in a senior level in an organisation or education establishment.
Be experienced in line management with proven ability in leading, managing and motivating staff.
Have experience in compliance of Health & safety regulations and risk management.
Demonstrate involvement in building and improvement planning.Have excellent IT skills and the ability to prepare and present reports.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be fluent in spoken and written English and Turkish.
