Successful candidate in this position is self-motivated, result oriented and persuasive, strong in communication and planning as well as has analytical skills while keeping the big picture.

Essential Functions

  • Day to day activities of accounting and provide oversight of staff within all offices.
  • Review of financial statements, financial information of customers, subcontractors, vendors, and other businesses with which the company conducts business.
  • Enhance cash position by monitoring A/P, A/R and collections. Work directly with staff to collect all past due receivables and retainage as soon as contractually allowed.
  • Provide financial leadership regarding all financial matters.
  • Coordination of budgeting and analysis requirements determined by the corporate officers.
  • Execution of internal controls policies and procedures.
  • Primary company representative for managing banking, bonding, and insurance transactions.
  • Manage the monthly close process in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Regular interface to the various office staff and management for matters of financial reporting, policy approvals, annual budgeting and monthly financial analysis.
  • Lead accounting process improvements and financial systems upgrades including coordination of financial systems.
  • Development of financial long-and short-range plans.
  • Establishment of tax policies, tax planning, and oversight of preparation of all corporate tax filings.
  • Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Advance usage in SAP FI and CO modules
  • Having an active CPA license
  • Experienced in multi-dealer or multi-customer management - must
  • Living in Istanbul Asian side, Gebze, Kocaeli or close by - must
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or business management with emphasis on accounting.
  • Minimum 10 years' demonstrated experience in accounting and financial management and minimum 3 years team management experience
  • Intermediate level in English
  • Proficient user for MS office applications
