Scope of Position

The incumbent in this position coordinates and supervises all Public Area Attendants to ensure proper completion of all tasks.  In addition, the incumbent maintains all public areas and back of house areas in accordance with the policies, procedures and standards as set by MOBOD.

Duties and Supporting Responsibilities

• Responsible for all activities of the Public Area Attendants.

• Supervises the work of public area attendants  to ensure all public areas and back of the house areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and tidiness to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Responsible for all deep cleaning process, polishing programmes, window cleaning and carpet cleaning programmes.

• Makes a house tour daily when he/ she starts to the shift.

• Provides to protect all the equipment and the machines of his/ her employee and checks them and the other public area stores daily.

• Trains, retrains, directs and evaluates the work of Public Area Attendants and Beach / Pool Attendants.

• Ensures that all tasks are completed on time and according to established standards.

• Offers all possible assistance to guests.

• Assists in maintaining preventive maintenance and files on all maintenance equipment.

• Maintains par stock level of all supplies.

• Follows and ensures Lost & Found procedures are followed by his team.

• Briefs the team member on a daily basis to ensure they are well informed.

• Performs all duties and responsibilities accordance with established company policies

  and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.

• Makes daily handover on log after the each shift.

• To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the

Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety.

• To ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately.

• To understand and strictly adhere to the Hotel’s Employee rules & regulations.

• To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.

• Performs any other duties as assigned to him/her by management.

• At least 2 years practical experience in similar position for a luxury property
