Executive Chef

Manna Hotels Inc. is an international tourism company based in Istanbul. Within the Manna Hotels brand, the company is dedicated to the development of its own concept of luxury boutique hotels in global strategic markets and cities, undertaking hotel management operations whilst supporting its philosophy of “Exceptional Hospitality” with pioneering information technology.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the charge in opening this high profile 47 rooms hotel and 100 pax busy restaurant property in the central business district of Istanbul and who is passionate about bringing positive energy to the workplace on a daily basis.

The Profile,

Reports to both F&B and Hotel Manager in a matrix organization, the ideal candidate is required to have Hotel or Culinary School degree. Minimum five (5) years of experience in Executive Chef position in a 5 star or a luxury hotel  is a must. Good health profiles between 30 to 50 age with creativity, innovation, standardization, hygiene & sanitation approach will be preferred.  Fluency in English is a plus.

Major Duties and Responsibilities,

·      Responsible of the never ending process of; planning, organizing, staffing, executing, controlling and innovation for the preparation of food.

·      Implementing the international menu, including menu engineering together with approved recipes.

·      Developing customized recipes seasonally and healthy options with the healty Food professionals.

·      Directing and training of his/her staff in accordance with the established international standard of presentation and quality.

·      Achieving a profitable operation and cost margin as in the budget.

·      Targetting the highest guest satisfaction.

·      Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen, heavy equipment, utensils with the coordination of stewarding.

·      Inspecting personally all incoming food products for quality, quantity and cost effectiveness.

·      Implementing a proper training program for all his/her staff.

·      Utilise the best of local, seasonal produce to create tasty, simple dishes, developed to a high standard consistently.
