With operations in more than 120 countries and own local infrastructure in 40 countries, we are a global leader in international trade and logistics. Since February 2017, as part of our dynamic expansion in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, we opened a new office in Istanbul, Turkey.
Manuchar Turkey continues to grow and seeks an experienced trader/sales representative to expand its team. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and commercially minded colleague, to join our dynamic sales team for both local & export sales of chemicals/food additives.

Your main role will be to expand our current sales activities and develop new products/markets. You will be based in our newly established office in Ataşehir, Istanbul.

  • Selling broad range of commodity and specialty chemicals to different industries
  • Setting and implementing market development strategy in your field 
  • Proactively identifying and developing new sales prospects to provide value- added solutions, focusing efforts at all levels in the customer’s organization.
  • Building relationships with new customers and developing sales of new products in line with the company’s strategy
  • Monitoring chemical raw materials’ price trend, understand logistics dynamics and stay in close relationship with your suppliers and customers
  • Collecting and analyzing market information in order to identify new business opportunities
  • Planning of shipments, collecting price offers from shipping lines 
  • Preparing management reports in your field

Aranan Nitelikler

  • At least a Bachelor degree, preferably in Foreign Trade, Economy, Business Administration, Food/Chemical/Industrial Engineering or related majors
  • You understand the complexities of the export & import supply chain and have the ability to unravel them.
  • Good knowledge of international trade terms, requirements and documentation 
  • You have a network in the business and a good understanding of the market: products, applications, suppliers, customers, competitors (particularly in one of the following sectors; food & beverage, detergents & home care, cosmetics, etc.)
  • A self-starter, dynamic and motivated to go the extra mile 
  • You definitively have a commercial mindset with strong communicative abilities enabling you to establish long-term relationships with the business partners and colleagues.
  • You are result driven, organized & flexible and with a talent for negotiations.
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and particularly Excel 
  • Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken 
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibilities which will allow you to grow in your career within a large international company
