Work Shop Manager

NEWSPRINT is a company based in Hong Kong with 4 production sites (Hong Kong, India, Bangladesh and France). Newsprint specialized in manufacturing of various complementary packaging items and accessories related to the garments and underwear business. Our originality is to be able to offer tailor made solutions to its customers with high standards in terms of quality and services.  

To take up the new challenges ahead, we are looking for high potential candidates who are looking for a flexible and dynamic structure to express their talent, bring their knowledge and to develop their experience.

Missions:

• To set-up and run anew work shop in Turkey (Istanbul) to produce labels and hangtags for the garment industry;
• Recruit and manage a team of 8-10 people to arrange production and orders follow up for customers;
• Administer the daily production and delivery activities of the work shop;
• Supervise and handle customer service and enquires;
• Manage the general operation of the work shop;
• Report to Hong Kong Head Quarter

• Degree holder, with minimum 5 years supervisory experience;
• Knowledge in Off-Set Printing, Flexso Printing, Thermo Transfer Printing and Silkscreen Printing or related disciplines is preferred but not necessary;
• Dynamic, ability to multi-task and good analytical mind;
• Strong interpersonal skills with high degree of self-motivation and integrity;
• General knowledge of local Turkish business practices and rules;
• High proficiency in written and spoken English is a MUST;
• Competence in Microsoft Office, Excel is a MUST
