From developing our own framework to supporting open source projects, developing at Otsimo is absolutely informative and never boring.
The DevOps team is here to help you, but you should prefer collaborating with them as opposed to just throwing environment challenges over the wall to them. Scale is something that excites you and you have dealt with before. When you build a data pipeline, you are confident it will work just as well in a dev environment as it will in a prod environment dealing with 100x the amount of data.

Requirements
- Previous experience in data mining with a proven track record
- Experience with one of them; Python, Java, Kafka, Hive, Hadoop/MapReduce, Storm, Avro, Redshift, SQL/Relational databases, MongoDB/NoSql.
- OOP, MVC, Git
- Comfortable working in a Cloud environment, ideally AWS or Azure.
Plus
- Bsc in Computer Science/Computer Engineering
- Experience with Zookeeper, MongoDB, Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Scala is a plus.
- Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, Backend Technologies
