University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or other relevant departments
• 5 years experience in accounting and finance area preferably in a multinational company
• Ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with all areas of the business to produce robust figures to effectively monitor and control the company's financial position
• Solely responsible of the accounting and financial reporting (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow etc.) of the company
• Manage tax compliance and analyse alternative structures and tax strategies
• Very good knowledge in Turkish GAAP and IFRS
• Produce weekly cash and checks reports as well as monthly P&L, balance sheets and other financial reports
• Responsible for Accounts Receivables (customer invoices and relevant documents; coordinating with the bank; and monitoring and follow up to ensure timely receipt of payments)
• Responsible for Accounts Payable (verifying and processing supplier invoices; obtaining necessary approvals; account reconciliations; analysis of discrepancies and unpaid invoices)
• Supporting related business units / departments on financial issues and decisions and Provide project analysis and recommendations to support senior management decision making
• Monthly and annual financial close process, preparing statutory accounts in accordance with relevant financial standards, managing the annual group audit and complying with external filing requirements
• Drive continuous improvement through simplification, standardisation and automation of company processes to achieve accuracy and efficiency
• Negotiating banks for loans/credits and contolling interest paid
Aranan Nitelikler
A background in international trade, and experience in stress and scenario testing, and scenario modelling of commercial variables will be highly advantageous.
A systematic thinker, you will be comfortable with frameworks and process constraints and be able to use your organisation and initiative to manage your workload. Your drive will see you achieving key performance objectives, and completing all tasks in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be results-oriented and have sound knowledge of the Turkish Accounting Standards.
The ideal candidate will be great with numbers and analysis, have a very good knowledge of MS Office Applications and have excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to convey their knowledge to others. Excellent command of English is a must
