Health & Safety and HACCP Specialist

Location

The Sheraton Adana, a 240 room new built hotel, will open on December 10, 2013. The hotel will be located on the bank of river Seyhan with a nice view to the old city of Adana.

Job Description:

• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to HSE
• Carry out a Risk Assessment and develop plans of occupational safety and prevention to avoid the risk of work-related injuries and loss of company assets
• Train all employees on the requirements of health and safety procedures
• Develop food safety committees to ensure all actions are communicated towards the operations
• Check on a daily basis pastry counters, buffets and displays for the restaurants and banquets
• Carry out drills to test the proper function of all safety and fire alarms
• Ensure that all employees adhere to health and safety security and safety requirements and report any misconduct to the appropriate authority in the company and take the proper actions

Requirements:

• BA/BSc preferably in Food Engineering
• Certified in food safety/HACCP or equivalent
• Experience in subject of occupational health and safety
• Good command of English both in speaking and writing
• Certified on Health & Safety (at least C class)
