The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the Import/shipment and overseas procurement processes from China. Also providing customer service aligned with the company’s initiatives and business strategies in compliance with exceptional quality and service such as :
· Conducting daily routine with with suppliers, customs consultancy company, customs, warehouses and transportation / forwarder companies, as well as subsidiaries,
· Supporting and executing order management, import and logistics procedures,
· Playing critical role as an SPC ( Single-Point of Contact ) for vendors and internal/external customers ,
· Handling information flow between factory, forwarders and customers,
· Instruct and liaise with warehouses, and forwarders to prepare and arrange the execution of the shipment of goods,
· Responsible from coordinating logistics process, ensuring shipping docs. are prepared correctly in terms of logistics, customs clearance etc..
· Assure on-going regulatory compliance for the order and ensure accuracy of import documents and charges,
· Giving support in L/C procedures,
· Supervising customs clearance and logistics processes to avoid cost and delays at the port,
· Preparing and submitting regular import/procurement reports.
· Preparing cost and lead time reports for management,
Aranan Nitelikler
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in preferably Engineering/Supply Chain or Business Administration, Import, Logistics,
· Good knowledge and experience in sea trade / import procedures and Min. 2 years experience in Procurement / Import Operations Management,
· Good knowledge of customs regulations and documentation ( Knowledge of technical compliance assessment procedures is a big asset)
· Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with complex business scenarios,
· The ability to organize and prioritise jobs, whilst under pressure in order to meet operational deadlines,
· Customer and service oriented attitude,
· Good team player, and multitasking ability,
· Must be detail oriented and have strong problem solving skills,
· Team player with a positive, dynamic mindset, and strong communicator with the ability to negotiate and win business,
· Fluency in English is required ( written & oral ) – Chinese and/or additinal language(s) will be plus -
· Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications with speed and accuracy,
· Experienced user of Mikro ERP,
· Min. 26 years old,
· No Military obligations for male candidates,
· Preferably living European side of Istanbul ( close to B. Cekmece / Beylikduzu region )
