Senior Software Architect

We are looking for "Senior Software Architect" to our business partner that we are conducting their consultancy.

• Design and lead development of software utilising service-oriented (RESTFul) architectures and enterprise integration patterns with a hands-on approach,

• Solve complex problems with innovative solutions,

• Contribute to software specifications,

• Research software tools and technologies; recommend and champion usage,

• Perform peer reviews and contribute to overall development quality,

• Analyze business issues and technical problems, apply critical thinking, and provide creative, architecturally sound, extensible solutions,

• Contribute to the architecture of products and customer solutions to ensure the architecture employs maintainable, usable and flexible frameworks,

• Design and implement scalability, resiliency, performance and security aspects of products and solutions using leading design practices,

• Develop high quality, reusable software components, common services, templates and tools that form a framework which can be leveraged across the development team to accelerate the delivery,

• Evaluate commercial or open-source software components and technologies to support the range of capabilities needed for products and solutions,

• Identify and implement best practices for the architecture and software design that can be adopted by the development,

• Communicate with clients and manage client relationships and team facilitation on a technical level,

• Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to development team,

• Discuss and communicate technology ideas and issues with peers and management,

• Actively engage with the members of the development team to provide assistance for resolving challenging design and coding issues,

• Collaborate with other architects and technical leaders,

• Advocate and help to establish agile best practices,

• Implement and support Test-driven Development and Continuous Integration,

• Advise management on technical opportunities, risks and design trade-offs.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics or related engineering fiel,

• At least 5 years of commercial software development experience of designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining components of large scale applications,

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience including server side programming and object-oriented concepts,

• At least 3 years of experience on Python/Ruby environment,

• At least 3 years of experience as a software architect,

• Experience in developing service oriented architectures and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability on Windows and Linux/Unix server platforms,

• Experience with high-scale, distributed web service development(hands-on experience with RESTful web services),

• Familiarity with distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and network protocols,

• Familiarity with data serialization formats like XML, JSON and protocol buffers,

• Experience with Version Control systems such as Git and SVN,

• Solid understanding of database design and data modeling,

• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills,

• Excellent written and oral communication skills on English.
