DEMEKA Madencilik Enerji Üretim A.Ş. is member of the ADO Group Companies. DEMEKA currently operates three Manganese Mines and associated enrichment facilities those are in Kilis, Kahramanmaraş and Antalya. The company is in the process of expanding Manganese operations and will begin Micronized Manganese production in Kahramanmaraş.

ADO Group is the parent company of DEMEKA, Turkey’s one of the leading industrial conglomerate. ADO Group companies have important role their respective sectors that include energy, cement, logistic and mining.

Job Summary:

Consult, present, recommend and successfully sell micronized manganese products in domestic and international market customers those are ceramic and tile, battery, iron and steel and animal feed industries. Accept sales and after sales responsibilities and pursue the standards of performance to the satisfaction of management. Manage existing customer relationships and develop relations with new customers. 

Essential Functions:

Know the features, benefits and applications of all Demaka Mining- micronized manganese production.

Understand the customer's needs.

Collaborate with team of in-house and external, engineers and technical experts to ensure customer satisfaction, sustainability and profitability, and deliver on expectations..

Communicate functions, features and benefits to technical and non-technical audiences.

Prepares quotes. Maintains current customer call list. Completes and submits reports.

Know the competitor's product and how it compares. Look for and obtain new prospects.

Maintain a technical understanding of mining, and related industries and customer value drivers in these industries.

Develop a marketing plan that ensures success of the sales plan. Complete Annual Forecast.

Budget and manage expenses relative to value of sales to achieve maximum levels of profitability.

Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.

Must be willing to travel within Demaka Mining territory at least 50% of the time.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of micronized manganese customers and their operations.

Knowledge of Import and Export Regulations

Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively.

Strong technical skills and the ability to communicate these both orally and in written form strong interpersonal skills,

Managing time effectively,

Operating both in teams and individually,

Dealing with ambiguous, diverse circumstances where conflict may be a factor,

Flexible attitude towards changing priorities,

Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to work cooperatively with people and consummate sales transactions.

Must have proven sales skills, be familiar with mining industry.

Must have a working knowledge of manganese.

Must be able to comprehend equipment specifications, price lists, catalogs, and common industry reference material.

Excellent written communication skills.

Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies and use of all required safety equipment.

Ability to maintain consistent attendance.

Education And Experience:

Engineering degree, preferably from Faculty of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.

Minimum of 3 years mining industry experience and/or Chemical Product Sales.

Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.

Experience with Microsoft Office
