Banquet Sales Representative

We are looking for Banquet Sales Representative for Courtyard by Marriott Airport Hotel, İstanbul. You will be responsible to;

• Initiating and coordinating all aspects of banquet or event, including decor, music, set-up, menu selection and preparation,
• Coordination of function of food&beverage requirements including accurate counts and minimal product waste,
• Maintaining direct communication with host during the functions, follow up on all special requests, conduct exit interview,
• Coordinate with other departments involved with event functions,
• Maintain the quality of appearance of event facility,

• Pro-active selling of banquet events and meetings to prospect clients, including prospecting, preparing offers and contracts, follow-up and closing in line with Banquet Budget
• Minimum (2) years experience in a Banquet sales position in a hotel.
• Existing portfolio of banquet private and corporate clients,
• Experience in creating special themed events and existing network with suppliers,
• Fluency in written and spoken English,
• Opera and Sales knowledge is beneficial
• Good knowledge in MS Office applications,
• Team player with strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills,
• Excellent customer serving skills,
• Ability to maintain flawless professionalism under high stress,
• Flexibility in working hours
