Effective management of Sales and Business Development in the business in compliance with G4S business strategy within selected sectors.
-Development of sales strategy specific to the business, through analysis of the sectors profile and needs, products and services available / required, existing customer base, resources and competitors.
-Complete knowledge acquisition of sector’s value chain (production, distribution, logistics up to the end consumer) and decision makers within actors in respective sectors.
-Become the expert of the bid team in strategic sectors, hence work hand in hand with the bid manager.
-Implementing sector specific sales strategies to ensure revenue growth.
-Identification of potential new business opportunities through consultation and cooperation with operational management, planned prospecting, leads, cold calling, tender notices.
-Arrange and conduct meetings with new and existing business prospects, in conjunction with operational management where appropriate, to market G4S integrated security solutions.
-Conduct / arrange site surveys with operations to identify risks and develop appropriate solution to meet customer needs.
-Plan regular visits to acquired customers for early intervention if needed.
-Prepare and submit sales proposals / tenders to prospective customers. Where necessary, prepare and conduct sales presentation.
-Conduct monthly trading analysis on sales to determine met sales objectives against target in order to ensure continuous profitability of product lines.
- Effective reporting on Sales and Business Development activities
-Preparation and submission of monthly report to MD and Business Development Director.
-Provide FD with accurate information on new and lost business as required.
-Monitor competitor activity through generation and analysis of reports.
-Advise regional operational management of sales activities, competitors and customer needs.
Aranan Nitelikler
- BA/BS or relevant business experience
- Strong relations within strategic sectors
- 4-5 years (or more) experience sales management roles with focus to strategic sectors (energy & maritime)
- Strong commitment, leadership and management skills.
- Experience in the development of business and negotiation of bids and tenders
- A proven track record in driving revenues through effective sales processes and people
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, marketing and negotiation skills.
- Capable of working effectively and productively with team members
- A proven track record in driving change and managing in a complex matrix organization.
- Ability to maintain strong ethical and professional values.
- Flexibility and adaptability to rapid environmental changes.
- Proficient in the ability to identify key issues in complex business situations, analyze and understand causation and context and then model a range of options and develop appropriate responses.
- Autonomous and results orientated, with a clear determination to succeed
