Team Leader (Civil Engineer - Waste Management)

Politecnica is one of the most notable and independent consulting firms in the architecture & engineering services sector in Italy. Privately held and fully controlled by its Partners, it has a network of almost 200 people (designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists) distributed in different offices.

Politecnica is looking for A Waste Management/Treatment Expert for a proposal related to a Europeaid Technical Assistance Tender (Design of an animal waste disposal system). Tentative commencement date: Sept  2014.

A Qualifications and skills

• A University Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (University Degree awarded on completion of at least three years study in a University or equivalent institution).

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

B General professional experience

• At least 10 years of professional experience in the area of civil engineering.

C Specific professional experience

• Experience as Team Leader or deputy Team Leader in at least one and up to two 2 project(s), each of at least EUR 300,000.00, in the areas of design, supervision and/or construction of waste management and/or waste treatment facilities;

• Experience in at least one and up to three 3 project(s), each of at least EUR 400,000.00, in the areas of design, supervision and/or construction of waste management and/or waste treatment facilities;

• Experience in at least one and up to two 2 project(s) in the area of design of waste management and/or waste treatment facilities;

• Experience in ABP projects is desirable.

CV of Expert is required in Europeaid Format – All Qualifications & Experiences shall be proved with Certificates or equivalent evidences.

Time Engagement: 200 Working Days distributed on an overall period of 12 months. Indicative start September 2014.
