Purchasing Manager

Our customer is one of leading company in the marketing of manufactured and imported crop protection products in agricultural sector. They are one of the oldest and well known company in the market with a good reputation and substantial market share in Turkey.

Job Description :

Manages procurement process in order to supply all the materials needed by the company in an appropriate and timely manner in compliance with current budget, provide management and administration to the team, control and coordinate the activities.

• Ensures that all the researches needed are done for the products required by Production Department in accordance with the master plan in order to be purchased at the appropriate time and price.
• Organize the implementation of all purchase requisitions outside of the master plan in line with the company's operations.
• Organize the necessary work for the creation of purchasing budget.
• Ensures that product orders are managed by evaluating the cost in cooperation with Production, Quality Control, Finance and Sales and Marketing departments in order to increase efficiency, profitability.
• Ensures the maintenance of good relationships with domestic and overseas suppliers
• Manages instantaneous purchasing decisions for unplanned situations at Budget (such as auctions or sales for export)
• Follows the national and international markets to provide an analysis of economic developments and takes measures to implement the action plan in the areas showing change.
• Ensures that all process in his/her responsibility are conducted in accordance with national / international laws.

Required Qualifications :

• University degree in Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Chemical engineering.
• Very good level of English in reading, writing, understanding and speaking.

Knowledge and Experience in :

• Systematics of ERP Purchasing module,
• Details of the chemical industry raw materials,
• Foreign trade legislation,
• Tax and customs legislation,
• National and International Market Information.
