JOB DESCRIPTION:

We offer great job in international environment for the leading IP networking, ultra-broadband access, and cloud technology specialist. You have the ability to join the international team working with devices from various vendors. Our customer is looking for experienced Transmission Engineers, looking for long term cooperation. The key purpose of the role is to carry out the network design, build and deploy as well as provisioning, configuration and troubleshooting of Transmission Network Elements.  The solutions will be based on variety of vendors such as Alcatel-Lucent, Transmode and Ciena.

Responsibilities:

• Collation of existing customer network solution and associated design and configuration data
• Complete understanding of provisioning in a transmission network environment
• Transmission network design creation
• Transmission network build, commissioning and provisioning
• Work with field engineers to ensure configuration is installed, error free and ready for testing
• Adherence to network security access policies and procedures
• Drive all the activities needed to define new service during, if required
• MOP’s and Work Instructions development according to Service Engineering Standards, if required
• Cooperation with Process Engineer regarding migration process definition for new projects

Requirements:

• 3+ experience in designing Transmission Network solutions
• Good understanding of transmission network environment
• Experience of working in a virtual team environment
• Experience of service provider and enterprise operational structures and processes
• Candidate must have advanced optical networking skills including but not limited to CWDM/DWDM/SDH technologies
• In-depth knowledge of wide range of transmission equipment such as: Transmode TM Series and TG series; Ciena CPL and OME6500 Photonic Layer
• Strong Transmission equipment configuration and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of Ciena Network Management System suit: One Control, Preside, Site Manager.
• Knowledge of Transmode Network Management System: ENM, TNM
• CCNA is a plus, TX Vendors certifications are in plus
• Openness to work in the night-shifts system
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
