Proje Uzmanı

The Project Specialist  will be hired with the following qualifications, for our institutional client we provide consultancy services and active within the higher education field in Antalya.

With the reorganization works at the university, Technology Transfer Office (TTO) expands its services into co-creation activities and industrial business development relations; hence, it needs additional staff to further the preparations and proposals especially for TÜBİTAK and H2020 calls. The Project Specialist will work directly with the Senior Project Specialist and TTO Director to help ensure high quality preparations of all project proposals and management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of TTO Director, the Project Specialist will support high quality project proposal development, project management, and reporting for the grant authorities such as TÜBİTAK, European Commission, and other authorities in Turkey.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Search for appropriate project subjects in line with co-creations principles and report to TTO Director. 
• Follow the regulations and rules of the grant authorities, liaise with the contacts of the grant authorities and help project reporting.  Plan and draft project proposals, define and allocate the resources such as human resource, time and technology, and do the budgeting.
• Give advisory support as well as process management assistance in TÜBİTAK projects. 
• Analyze the budgets of the running projects periodically and update the coordinators in time.
• Submit the proposals and follow up the process.
• Plan the projects, prepare the documentation, conduct the presentations and complete the reporting.
• Proactively manage the running projects in order to close them in time.
• Follow grant calls locally and globally and give feedback to TTO Director.
• Contact and visit the stakeholders of the draft proposals.

Key Working Relationships:

Internal: TTO Director, Senior Project Specialist, Assistant Project Specialist, Coordinator of a project, TTO Assistant, Officers in HR department and Financial Department.

External: TÜBİTAK officials, Turkish local government officials, EU local organs in Turkey, NGOs working in Turkey.

Qualifications:

• University degree in related field; however, industrial engineering or economy is an asset.
• At least three years of experience working in project management, project design, and monitoring.
• Capacity to work closely with, understand, and support local partners. Experience in collaboration and coordination with government officials.
• Demonstrated understanding of project design and project management.
• Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating project events.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Ability to manage programmatic databases preferred, including Excel or SPSS.
• Willingness to travel as needed to project meetings within or outside Turkey. Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time to project meeting points.
• Fluency in oral and written English, a MUST. Knowledge of Turkish language preferred.
