Engineering Manager

Seeking an Enginering Manager with proven experience in coordinating and managing technical activities amongst architectural and civil disciplines on a multi-building construction project in accordance with an overall design reflecting the client's requirements.

Qualifications;

• A minimum of 15 years of experience performing various engineering functions with an emphasis in general building construction and 6 years related Project Management or Project Engineering experience.

• Incumbent should have experience related to design, with strong ability to coordinate between design consultants and contractors for resolution of issues.

• Proficient technical ability and awareness.

• Proficient knowledge of project engineering processes and procedures.

• Proficient planning and execution skills.

• Strong in organizing and managing complex engineering activities.

• Working knowledge of project control systems.

• Basic knowledge of proposals and bid processes.

• Communicates effectively in Turkish and English both orally and in writing.

• Presents ideas clearly and in a professional manner.

• Utilizes constructive thinking to define and analyze a variety of problems and alternatives for solutions.

• Perform complex and diverse assignments utilizing an in-depth and broad knowledge of involved scientific theory and principals, practices and/or precedents.

• Highly motivated to perform role and achieve results.

General Responsibilities;

• Review and comment on prepared designs for constructability and completeness.

• Assist in preparing monthly status and progress reports to the client and internal management representing the performance and financial condition of the project.

• Directly responsible for collation of design documentation for construction activities.

• Assist with preparation of scope documents for construction packages.

• Preparation and assembly of technical documents for the procurement of tender packages to suit the schedule requirements.

• Collect and review all technical aspects of the construction documentation, such as technical submittals and RFI, then interface with consultants and contractors to ensure objectives are met.
