CAD Design and Release Engineer

TRIES Mühendislik Tasarım ve Ürün Geliştirme Merkezi San. Tic. A.Ş. located in Kartal/Istanbul is a subsidiary of SANKO Holding. TRIES is an Engineering & Consulting Company primarily established to serve MST Construction Machines and Başak Tractors both being Sanko Group Products.

In an effort to expand the activities in and outside the Group,TRIES is now seeking for bright engineers-fresh graduates,M.Sc and Ph.D students to join their research and development team with the following requirements:

Candidate Role:

• Responsible for design and development of the engine sub-systems and powertrain components using CAD software from concept phase to final product phase (quality, cost, weight, and function),
• Uses state of the art CAD/CAE tools, develops Product Development processes, core foundation documents, knowledge base for the systems and components they are responsible for,
• Performs engineering calculations of moderate complexity and does dimensional analysis, including tolerance stack-ups,
• Leads Design and Drawing Reviews for new engine and powertrain components on assigned projects,

Candidate Profile:

Candidates are expected to:

• Have good knowledge of manufacturing methods,
• Be eager to perform design and development of engine and powertrain components,
• Have good knowledge of product development quality tools and methods,
• Have 3D modeling skills and strong analytical skills and be able to resolve technical design issues,
• Have Casting design experience or equivalent.Manufacturing design experience is strongly preferred,
• Be experienced preferably in CATIA V5 and ProE
• Have knowledge of parametric design and design to manufacture,
• Be preferably experienced in CATIA V5 analysis tools and have studied structural analysis,
• Be preferably familiar with the engines and other powertrain components.
• Work experience in engine design and development field,
• Experience in 3D CAD tools (preferably CATIA V5 & ProE) and parametric design,
• Profound engine and/or powertrain system knowledge.

• B.Sc / M.Sc degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering from a reputable university in Turkey or abroad,
• Fluency in English to support international work environment,
• No restriction in travelling abroad frequently,
• Working knowledge of CATIA V5 and / or ProE program,
• Good command of MS Office Programs
• Excellent presentation skills,
• No military service obligation or at least postponed until 2017 for male candidates
• Demonstrated interest in production and product development,
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills,
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills,
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills,
• Enthusiasm for learning and professional development,
• Strong ability to work in a highly utilized project management and product development environment,
• Located in or relocatable to the Anatolian side of Istanbul,
• Ph.D,Fluency in German,School Project participation,Experience in engine and powertrain development projects will be regarded as added assets.
