Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Controlling payroll admin, and tax filing;
- Co-managing accounting team, 2-3 FTE, workloads and deadlines
- Managing and controlling billing process;
- Liaising with managerial staff;
- Monitoring financial transactions;
- Monitoring G/L ledger book-keeping, AP/AR;
- Approving payments for invoices and Credit control
- Preparing monthly accounts, reports, commentaries and financial statements;
- Ensuring compliance with taxation legislation;
- Timely filing VAT and CIT returns;
- Preparing monthly P&L, balance sheet and related reports for submission to the US parent company in accordance with strict reporting deadlines.
- Preparing and filing monthly balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations for sign off by European Controller.

Required skills and experience
- 3-5 years relevant experience preferably within an international company
- International accounting exposure
- Fluency in Turkish
- Good level of English
- Good level of Dutch or German
- Accounting qualification up to ACCA level, at least AA.
- Good IT skills, particularly in the use of spreadsheets used for reporting and analyses, in depth knowledge of JDE is an advantage
- A thorough, methodical approach;
- Ability in and confidence with Maths;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Excellent commercial sense;
- Self-motivation and starter;
- The ability to work as part of a small team;
- Flexible and hands-on, no 9 to 5 mentality.
