Ensure effective financial policies, systems and procedures are implemented and followed at each branch location,
Ensure the closing of the books of accounts within the prescribed deadline,
Ensure compliance with all requirements of the Tax department
Ensure that the company is regularly audited in all areas of the operation including its finances and any possible fraud.
Define, monitor and manage operational business practices consistent with corporate policy, productivity, cost efficiency, quality and profitability standards,
Direct and analyze the financial condition of the business units, and its impact on the overall organization’s success,
Articulate detailed financial analysis to local management teams and executive staff,
Manage branch finance activities, including all day-to-day activities, month-end close, monthly and quarterly reporting, P&L review, forecasting, and financial analysis,
Prepare any other financial reports that may be required by the General Manager or Regional Management,
Assist in making feasibility studies as may be required by the General Manager in connection with the acquisition/management of new sites.
Become a strategic partner to the General Manager, providing guidance in the areas of financial analysis and maximizing the overall success of the business,
Update fixed assets register and calculated for depreciation expenses,
Prepare management reports, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets,
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Experienced knowledge in accounting and finance with at least 5 years management experience,
Fluent in English both verbal and written,
Exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative style and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels,
Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work effectively within time constraints,
Knowledge of Financial systems,
Proficient in Microsoft Office software especilly in Excel,
Masters or Bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree or professional certification preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience,
Ability to work to demanding deadlines and deliver outcomes in an accurate and timely manner and is highly organised,
Previous management of accounts teams or finance support team with a ‘hands on’ approach,
Lives or willing to live in Anatolian Side of Istanbul.
