English Teacher - Full Time

We aim to strengthen our faculty for the 2024-2025 academic year with a FULL-TIME teacher of English.

We teach general English to students between grades 2 - 11 and our maksimum class size is 18.

FULL-TIME position consists of  30 class hours per week year round. The yearly schedule, work days and hours are as follows;

From mid September to mid June -- 5 days a week:
i – Wednesdays and  Thursdays between 13:30 - 19:30
ii– Fridays between 13:30 - 18:45
iii- Saturdays and Sundays between 08:50 - 16:50

From mid June to end of August -- 5 days a week:
i – Weekdays between 09:30 - 16:30

12 month contract with 6 weeks (26 work days) of paid vacation. Vacation schedule is given in advance of the school year for the purpose of early travel arragements. In addition, no extra and/or surprise tasks or burden are created for the faculty.

Minimum requirements for candidates:
-   Turkish Citizenship (foreign national applications will not be taken into consideration)
-   Bachelor’s degree in related fields (English Teaching, English Language and Literature, American Culture and Literature, Translation and Interpreting)
-   Pedagogical formation  (for degrees with non-teaching fields)
-   3 years of experience towards young learners

IMPORTANT NOTICES:
1- Applicants must be eligible for official registration via MEB system. (State school teachers cannot be registered due to government regulations)
2- Monthly net TL salary will be offered in accordance with background and experience. Income tax, social security expenses and lunch will be covered by our institution.
