English Teacher - Part Time

We aim to strengthen our faculty for the 2023-2024 academic year with PART-TIME TURKISH teachers of English.

PART-TIME position yearly schedule, working days and hours are as follows;

From October to Mid June – (A total of 30 Sundays):

Sundays (ONE DAY a week between 08:50 - 16:30 a total of 8 class hours per day (Class hour lenghth: 40 minutes, 4 class hours per session)

Student body and class size: Both morning and afternoon sessions: Elementary school students -- 15-18 max

NET hourly wage (IN RANGE OF 330 -350 TL/HOUR) will be offered in accordance with background and experience. Income tax, social security expenses and daily lunch  will be covered by our institution.

Minimum requirements for candidates:

- Turkish Citizenship (foreign national applications will not be taken into consideration)

- Bachelor’s degree in related fields (English Teaching, English Language and Literature, American Culture and Literature, Translation and Interpreting)

- Pedagogical formation (for degrees with non-teaching fields)

- 2 years of experience towards young learners

IMPORTANT NOTICES:
1- Applicants must be eligible for official registration via MEB system
  a. State school teachers cannot be registered due to government regulations
  b. Private K-12 school teachers must have 8 spare hours (out of a total of 40) in the MEB system in order to be registered by our institution
2- Applicants who work full-time in private K-12 schools must be able to guarantee attendance on Saturdays for the academic year, as many private schools tend to have at least 3-4 working Saturdays in a given school year (for PTA meetings ect.)
