Job Description
In the method in which certified, Level 2 individuals shall:
- Have the skills and knowledge to set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method.
- Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard.
- Be capable of providing necessary guidance, supervision to trainees and Level 1 personnel.
- Be familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method as used by the Turkish Engine Center.
- Be capable of developing work instructions from approved general procedures. (Such work instructions must require final approval by Level 3 certified in the method and Cognizant Engineering.)
- Have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.
- Have a basic knowledge of aircraft and aircraft engine maintenance.
- Having technical responsibility for the engine during shop visit, ensuring full compliance with technical aspects of both the applicable Aviation Authorities and Engine Centre, customers requirements while supporting the business interests of the Engine Centre.
- Have overall ownership/responsibility of assigned work both for V2500 and CFM56 commercial aircraft engine types and other shop duties.
Required Skills
- Graduated from Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical-Electronics departments of universities or vocational schools,
- Engineering experience is a plus,
- Ability to read and interpret EASA/FAA/DGCA regulations and guidance material,
- Ability to read, write and communicate to an understandable level in the English language,
- Knowledge of the use of NDT inspection methods,
- Ability to follow written work instructions and engine manual instructions,
- Basic knowledge of MS office programs,
- SAP experience is a plus,
- Excellent skills of communication and solving problem.
- Completed military service for male applicants,
Preferred Qualifications:
- NDT Level 2 certification highly preferred in PT , ET, MT,UT methods( per EN 4179:2021 and NAS 410),
- 5 years of related experience/education highly preferred in PT , ET, MT,UT NDT methods ( per EN 4179:2021 and NAS 410).
