- Be in charge of the role of the process and methods department encompasses all aspects of technical support and documentation related to the Commercial Aircraft Engine Repair and Overhaul activities.
- Provide technical support for removal, disassembly, clean, inspection, NDT, assembly and installation processes of engines undergoing repair, modification and refurbishment.
- Perform process & methods engineering and development activities to ensure all system requirements and technical goals are met.
- Provide support to tool trial processes.
- Have technical responsibility for the engine during shop visit, ensuring full compliance with technical aspects of both the applicable Aviation Authorities and Engine Centre, Customers’ requirements.
- Perform work in compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements, attend quality related training, and at all-time comply with the company quality policy.
- Ensure that the necessary maintenance pack (Work Instructions) is ready and up-to-date for engine workshop visits including airworthiness, flight safety and economy principles in line with customers' requests, Turkish and International Civil Aviation rules, manufacturers' suggestions, Engine Center's Corporate regulations, procedures and principles.
- Follow-up the periodic updates released by the OEM and ensure that the revisions are included maintenance packs and are ready on time.
- Actively participate in scrap review and MRB review processes. Perform the correspondence concerning the parts in MRB and follow-up the status of the parts.
- Provide engineering support services as regards the issues in his/her field of responsibility for the engine models included in the capability list of company.
- Perform the necessary engineering works for the requests received from the other departments in the engine center.
- Perform Save Clinic activities.
- Perform correspondence with the OEM via OTC/DICA requests in order to salvage the non-conformance parts when necessary.
- Execute the technical researches.
- Accomplish PFMEA, CTQ – KPC Phase 2, Process Review and DAISE in scope of process improvement, control and root cause analysis when necessary.
Aranan Nitelikler
- University degree from a university in Engineering Degrees, especially in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering,
- Min 3 years of experience in Aviation is plus,
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken,
- Excellent skills of communication and reporting,
- Being self-motivated and result oriented,
- Excellent skills of analytical thinking and problem solving,
- To be customer oriented and to be a self-starter,
- To have intercultural sensitivity. Experience of a multinational company is a plus,
- Using effectively MS Office applications,
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus,
- Advanced level of understanding Civil Aviation Regulations (Part145, Far43/145 etc.) is a plus,
- Technical knowledge on gas turbine engines is a plus,
- Preferably familiar to process improvement methodologies.

(Turkish Engine Center) is a joint venture company between Pratt&Whitney that has a leading role in American Aviation Industry and Turkish Airlines Technic that is subsidiary of Turkish Airlines. Turkish Engine Center was established on October 10th, 2008 and provides maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services of aircraft engines for domestic and international airlines.
