HIERARCHICAL RESPONSIBILITY
The Sales manager directly reports to Manager-Regional Sales
MAIN AND PARTICULAR ASSIGNMENTS
- In charge of development of sales on Turkish market
- Minimum 3 years experience required in following sectors / products : Electrical or Generator or Generating Sets or Power units
- In close relationship with the Area Sales Manager and in perfect harmony with existing sales representatives, he must establish a suitable distribution network for the sale of diverse lineup of products.
- He will develop and lead the corresponding business. Consequently, he shall travel as much as necessary to carry out such assignment.
- In coordination with the Area Sales Manager and the Marketing Department, he shall trigger commercial actions upstream with customer users, Engineering advisers, the Research Offices, in order to promote our products and know-how.
- In coordination with the concerned people, he shall assume for some large projects the direct liaison with the distributors to bring them assistance, and train them to specific products, as well as to business approach methods.
- He may have to be directly and globally in charge of some important or strategic files such as: complex setups, power plants and ensure their technical, financial and commercial follow up until total completion of the client payment.
- He shall identify and assess the distributors’ sales knowledge gaps and failures and ensure their corresponding training (use of documentation, technical specifications, CD ROM, prices…)
- He shall constantly follow up his area performance (sales, margins, payment, stocks, gensets waiting to be delivered…)
- In relationship with the Area Sales Manager, he sets objectives and write the yearly action plan.
- He shall represent the company in various organized local meetings
- He shall work in very close relationship with all Headquaters Departments
- He shall establish a report to the Area Sales Manager after the following actions:
o A business trip,
o Receiving a client
o Any other important events
- For any deal with unusual terms and contractual commitments, he should receive approval from the Area Sales Manager.
- He must be involve in the Quality approach of the company
