Senior Accountant

We are searching for a Senior Accountant for our client which is US private multinational company with a strong presence in the Turkish market of Chemical Products and Services (manufacturing, importing and selling) for the last 20 years.

* Reporting to Regional Finance Manager with dotted line to Country Sales Manager.
* This position has responsibilities in a wide range of duties covering both accounting and some finance functions.
* It will provide experience in the support of preparation and coordination of US GAAP and Turkish accounting activities, financial reports and closing analysis in support of our business.
o Responsible for maintaining the company's accounting records and ensures compliance with both U.S. and local Turkish requirements.
o Cooperation on preparing the annual business plan
o Preparing the monthly results pack
o Performing capex spent analysis
o Maintaining monthly closing procedures
o Implementing financial procedures and internal controls.
o Preparing cash flow and working capital forecasts
* Lead a small team and participate in the maintenance and entry of accounting records and ensure compliance with local accounting regulations.
* Prepare and file periodic and yearly financial statements to the Turkish authorities
* Liaise with local tax advisor on fiscal matters

Work closely with local business management on improving financial awareness, improving profitability, cost analysis, introducing new product ranges.

. Degree in Accounting or Finance,
. Annual Accounts signatory right is an advantage(SMMM),
. 5-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a multinational organization,
. Experience in US GAAP is an advantage,
. Analytical experience is an advantage,
. Skilled in PC usage (MS Office) and ERP systems, Oracle Financials being a plus, . English fluent (written & oral) is an absolute requirement.
