Medical Product Specialist - Medikal Ürün Sorumlusu

The role has a number of components but is primarily concerned with providing clinical and technical applications support to our distributor and end-users in the region of Istanbul. We currently have a large share of the Respiratory Humidification market but in much of the region, the market is still using our lower technology product and we intend to move the market to the higher end product. This requires a high level of in-market support for our customers. In addition, we are increasing our presence in the Respiratory Homecare market. The role will therefore also include investigation of this market and proposals to develop our position.
Most of the time will be spent visiting hospitals supporting the distributor.

Requirements
Tertiary qualified with either marketing/commerce degree with some technical expertise or an engineering/science degree with marketing or sales experience.
No military service obligation for male candidates.

Experience
Preferably a background in the medical equipment industry or in nursing or biomedical engineering. Experience in sales and/or marketing is vital.

Specific Skills
Fluent in Turkish and English.
Computer literate.
Understanding of business and the hospital environment.
Strong interpersonal skills

Further information
We are looking for a relatively senior person able to work confidently with the distributors and with the medical profession in the region.

The nature of the role will require the Product Specialist to work independently and without the day to day support of colleagues in any office environment. Support from Ankara will, of course, be regular and comprehensive.

The Product Specialist will be trained in Istanbul and Ankara.
