EVENT MANAGER

Türk Telekom Arena is currently being constructed at Seyrantepe and is due for completion in October 2010 at a cost of 130 million Euros.
The stadium will open in January 2011 as the new home for Galatasaray Spor Kulübü who are one of the most successful Turkish Football clubs.
AEG Facilities Management have been appointed to work in partnership with the Club to prepare for its opening and the ongoing operation of this magnificent state of the art stadium which will hold some 52,000 spectators. In addition to Club matches the stadium will be used to stage a variety of events including concerts.
As a part of the operational staffing and event management services AEG are looking to appoint a number of high calibre individuals to join the team working on this exciting and project.

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager Operations the Event Manager will be responsible for;
• Head up the event management team which includes guest services and ticketing.
• Have responsibility for the development and implementation of the event planning, management, guest services and ticketing strategies in consultation with the Club and franchised operators.
• Act as the client relationship manager in the planning and delivery of a diverse range of sporting and entertainment events ensuring that the client’s expectations are met or exceeded.
• Coordinate the requirements of the Turkish Football Federation and statutory authorities ensuring that these are communicated to and delivered by the relevant teams.
• Develop and manage the departmental budget.
• Procure,train and manage third party service providers.

• Be educated to graduate level.
• Have a proven track record in the event management with experience of customer services ticketing operations preferably of large scale sports and/or entertainment events.
• Have working knowledge of Turkish Football Federation/UEFA guidance and regulations.
• Be fluent in Turkish and English
