Assist the Guest Relations Manager to train and coach Guest Service Agents and Club Lounge Agents on established systems.
Assist in the instruction and professional development of employees on an ongoing basis.
Lead by example and serve as role model for employees within the department and the hotel.
Ensure that Training Calendars are kept current.
Direct and assist staff, ensuring that all work is completed effectively.
Perform duties of Guest Relations Manager when not present.
Ensure total compliance with all cash handling and financial procedures.
Determine Guest Service department shift schedule based on weekly basis, ensure all Human resources policies are adhered to.
Perfom the duties of Guest Service Agent, Receptionist and Front Office Supervisor if required.
Follow up Guest and elite member correspondance, prepare correspondance for arriving and departed guests.
Ensure all reports have been done correctly and distributed.
Follow up guest complaints and try to solve them in a professional manner.
Greet the guests and escort them to their room if necessary.
Assist the Guest Relations Manager in greeting all VIP guests, represent management when dealing with guests.
Prepare,control and follow up daily amenity lists, monitor guest requests.
Assists the GRM and assumes a supervisory role in monitoring, evaluating and setting goals for the Guest Service department in all relevant Starwood Guest Experience components such as GEI(GuestExperience Index), Starguest program and SPG (Starwood Preferred guest). Takes action for improvement in all necessary areas to reach targeted goals. .
