For its Middle East and North Africa region the company is now looking for a Finance Director based in Istanbul.

JOB PURPOSE

 

 

Manage all financial matters of the MENA Division, influencing and providing financial support to strategic and operational decision making across the Division, up to and including Board level.

Deliver all Divisional monthly reports, forecasts and plans to division management and Group on time and with the required degree of accuracy and comprehensive analysis.

Provide excellent financial support to the whole Division and to the wider Group

Professionally lead, coach and challenge the divisional business controller and finance manager in countries to optimize the organization structure and human capital

Lead and/or participate in projects key for the growth and profitability of the division

In close collaboration with the group functions, drive the continuous improvement of the Company and the divisional financial data, processes and systems in order to support the company objectives, ensure excellent controls are in place.

  • Full P&L and human capital accountability as a member of the senior management team
  • Ensure perfect execution of identified key strategic projects
  • Ensure financial support is provided across the Division for strategic and operational decision making and execution and all levels of the division
  • Contribute financial and commercial expertise to the business
  • Participate in the Division’s strategic development process and implement strategies approved by the Board (Group and Local)
  • Ensure that the financial impact and effect of strategic change is taken fully into account in the development of the Division’s financials
  • Work professionally within the Senior Management Team to deliver and ensure buy-in to the Division and Group strategic priorities and to ensure that the Division meets all budgetary and relevant targets and key performance indicators
  • Operational responsibility for the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, budgets and forecasts, ensuring all are produced in a timely accurate and effective manner and communicated clearly to appropriate audiences
  • Overall responsibility for Divisional tax issues ensuring full compliance with statutory obligations and minimizing tax where possible
  • Overall responsibility for monitoring cash management ensuring accurate forecasting and meeting the company’s commitment to the Group
  • Responsible for the efficiency, reliability, consistency and quality of finance controls and procedures ensuring strong financial controls and delivery of value for money across the company
  • In conjunction with the Group, manage the introduction and development of new financial systems when appropriate
  • Build and maintain good relationships with the Group’s auditors, bankers and other advisors
  • People Management and development responsibility of his/her team in line with the identified Group Strategies
  • Act as a point of contact for different financial & non-financial subjects within the Group

  • DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  •  
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting, or other business related field
  • At least 10 years experience in an Financial Planning & Analysis and/or Finance Management role for a complex, international business in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Able to manage at both strategic and operational levels
  • Knowledge of strategic planning and experience in execution of strategic projects
  • Track record on data and continuous improvement process
  • Excellent people management & influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Multi-cultural, multi-functional and multi located team management experience would be an advantage
  • IT literacy, extended knowledge of MS Excel, good knowledge of ERP and BI tools, specific knowledge of SAP and SAP-BW is preferred
  • Ambitious, driven, constructive, analytical person with strong interests in business in general in a production environment
  • Fluent in English. French and/or Arabic languages preferable
  • Flexibility for domestic and international travel
