Inspector

 AS International is guiding its clients (softline & hardline consumer goods industry) on Product Engineering, Testing, Audit, Inspection, Training and Consulting on 3 continents and over 20 countries (Europe, Africa, Asia).

•  Carry out FRI (Final Random Inspection) and INL (Inline Inspection) according to our client's and AS International’s Inspection Process by visiting the factories and warehouses of our clients’ suppliers. The inspection process includes a visual inspection, dimensional verification, security verification, functional testing, packaging checks, and any other steps as detailed in respective procedures
• Prepare on the same inspection day the inspection report in English/German including required pictures
• Record your findings against our clients’ product quality checklists and reference samples
• Write up inspection reports based on your findings, according to our reporting format Meet tight report deadlines regularly, as our promise to the client is to deliver reports on the same day as the inspection
• Receive comprehensive training in our best practices and industry requirements for softline and garment inspection

• College degree or above
• Good command of English/German (read and written)
• Experience in quality management and the Softlines / Garment industry
• Able to follow up the production from a technical side until FRI
• Knowledge of AQL standards, as well as relevant safety and quality regulations
• Inspection particularly shirt productions
• Good command of Microsof Office softwares (Word / Excel)
• Honest, independent, well organized, strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent communication skills, pro-active
• Willing to travel frequently
