The Digital Marketing Specialist requires a combination of marketing and publishing, with the most important aspect being “customer first” mindset. The Digital Marketing Specialist is the corporate storyteller that must be empathetic toward the customer’s pain points.

It is vital that you are a good communicator. If you know how to creatively handle various online marketing tools, like websites, podcasts and blogs, this position is for you. You will work with different teams to coordinate our marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.

This is a progressive role, which has excellent development opportunities, and you will receive full training on our business processes and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Produce high-quality content (social posts, articles, emails)
2. Use Facebook Business Manager effectively and create engaging campaigns
3. Use Google Ads effectively and create stunning search, display and video ads
4. Develop and manage the editorial and social media calendar and ensure deadlines are met
5. Be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style
6. Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals
7. Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g. website, blogs, press releases and podcasts)
8. Manage end-to-end digital projects Establish our web presence to boost brand awareness
9. Maintain a strong online company voice through social media
10. Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Product development teams to ensure brand consistency
11. Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability
12. Monitor ROI and KPIs
13. Stay up-to-date with digital media developments newsletters, social media posts etc. and ensure they are clear, concise and on brand
14. Collaborate with designers, UI Developers and Marketing Team to serve a global audience
15. Partner with marketing and growth teams to develop copy across website and landing pages to improve conversion and engagement rates via A/B tests

2. Excellent analytical and project management skills
3. Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
4. Ability to think like an educator, intuitively understanding what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it
5. Understanding of web publishing requirements
6. Project management skills and detail-oriented to manage editorial schedules and deadlines within corporate and ongoing campaigns
7. Experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics - crisis communications experience is a plus
8. Strong problem-solving skills Comfortable with working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment The ability to prioritize and manage several different tasks at once Self-motivated while remaining a team player

Success criteria include:

1. Positive brand recognition and consistency across chosen published channels
2. An increase in defined customer engagement metrics (measured by users taking the desired action e.g., clicks, conversions, subscription, etc.)
3. Website traffic growth
4. Clearly defining content distribution during particular stages of the buying cycle (lead nurturing)
5. Identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities through content analysis, and deploying content assets for higher conversion rates
