Job objective:

responsible for setting goals, plans and marketing strategies, in order to maximize company's profitability in its market, and increase its market share both internally and externally, through research and studies of market For the purpose of identifying customer's needs, and study of competing products, in order to develop marketing plans and strategies necessary to satisfy customer's needs, and increase their satisfaction toward company's products, and services, in addition to oversee the development of existing products, and monitor trends in order to create new products and services.

Tasks:

1. Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.

2. Formulate, direct, or coordinate marketing activities or policies to promote products or services.

3. Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.

4. Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.

5. Negotiate contracts with vendors or distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks or developing distribution strategies.

6. Compile lists describing product or service offerings.

7. Confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement or royalty sharing with outside producers or distributors.

8. Consult with production department on product specifications such as design, color, or packaging.

9. Use strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.

10. participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services.

11. Conducts economic and commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products and services.

12. Predict with the types of products or services that are expected to be in demand.

13. Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.

14. Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and other marketing materials.

15. Nurture and enrich all external perceptions of the company and growth of market share.

Job Specifications: 

Education:

§ Bachelor's degree in marketing.

Experience:

§ 7 years in field.


Key Competencies:

Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing so others will understand.
