Accountant

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Booking all kinds of invoices in accordance with uniform accounting policies, reconciliation of accounts 
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable,Follow-up daily workflows of receipts, invoices and bank transactions
• Create smooth and timely information flow/reporting to Finance  for relevant matters coming out of inside & outside contacts
• Follow up with Tax Office&CPA about regulations and legal duties
• Control and maintenance of trial balances, ledgers 
• Responsible for payments related to all operations of the company
• Following cash proceeds from customers.
• Responsible for daily cash reports and cash flow
• Follow up for   tax return 
• Different general ledger and subledger accounting tasks
• Preparing regular and special accounting and financial reports like expenditure report,profit loss report,ıncome report
• Assisting administrative affairs and purchases.

Job & Skills Requirements:

• Hold the Turkish Nationality - native speaker
• BA in accounting or any related field
• have minimum three years of successful and continuous accounting experience IN TURKEY
• have excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and LOGO,GO3,Sistem Hotel programme experience preferred
• speak and write English (intermediate level)
• Good understanding of Turkish accounting system and tax regulations 
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with flexible hours,
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Strong analytical thinking and decision making capabilities
• Knowledge of Turkish uniform accounting policies, income tax, VAT knowledge, monthly/quarterly declarations 
• Resident in European side of Istanbul
