Accounting Chief

We are looking for an Accounting Chief for Enterprise Management Department of our International Company.

Position Responsibilities

Compile and analyze financial information, keep records of all transactions and assets in subsidiary ledgers and general ledgers, and ensure that is maintained in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and laws in Turkey.

Prepare and enter journal entries about payroll, and ensure appropriate deductions are being taken for employee social security, taxes, etc.

Compute taxes and prepare tax returns of VAT, stamp tax, corporate income tax, and witholding tax, etc.

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare periodic financial statements including monthly, quarterly and annual.

Doing the other jobs as needed, i.e. working with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.

Position Requirements

University Degree (Bachelor) in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.

Highly proficient in spoken and written English.

CPA Certification (active, or in process) preferred.

More than 5 years experience in similar position.

Previous multinational company working experience is an asset.

Proficient using of computers, and skilfully using Microsoft Office and other related software.

Proficiency in accounting softwares.

Proficiency in Turkish generally accepted accounting practices and principles, and laws (particularly tax laws)
