Animal By Product Expert

Politecnica is one of the most notable and independent consulting firms in the architecture & engineering services sector in Italy. Privately held and fully controlled by its Partners, it has a network of almost 200 people (designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists) distributed in different offices.

Politecnica is looking for an Animal By Products Expert for a proposal related to a Europeaid Technical Assistance Tender (Design of an animal waste disposal system). Tentative commencement date: september  2014.

Please highlighting in your CV the compliance to the following requirements:

A Qualifications and skills

• A University Degree (awarded on completion of three years study in a University or equivalent institution) in biology, environment, veterinary medicine or agronomy or 7 years of professional experience (in addition to the minimum number of years of general professional experience required below) related to the safe treatment of all categories of animal by-products. Experience on animal waste management in EU member states or EU candidate countries is required.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

B General professional experience

• At least 10 years of professional experience in animal waste management, veterinary, environmental or agronomy sectors.

C Specific professional experience

• At least 5 years of specific experience in ABP collection, ABP transport, or ABP rendering/incineration/disposal plant management or operations for an average of at least 30 tonnes of ABP on a daily basis or at least 10950 tonnes on a yearly basis.

CV of Expert is required in Europeaid Format – All Qualifications & Experiences shall be proved with Certificates or equivalent evidences.
