potential for the position of country manager
In this position you will be responsible for the successful positioning of the NEDIS brands in Turkey, managed from the Istanbul region. After a thorough training and introduction program at the NEDIS head office in The Netherlands,
you will develop a business plan for the Turkish market and start building a strong distributors network. You will frequently visit retail customers and support them in successfully selling the NEDIS product lines. You identify market opportunities and are creative in developing campaigns to increase market share. Depending on the level of your success, you will also start building your own sales team. You will be supported by an experienced inside sales team and you will report to the international sales manager, both of whom
are located at the head office of NEDIS.
The profile
An entrepreneur and self-starter with experience in building a business and positioning a brand. Strong in establishing
relationships, with outstanding communication skills. Someone who is well organized and disciplined, but who also can be flexible and creative with a strong focus on achieving excellent business results.
Required Skills
Someone with:
• a proven track record of more than 5 years in sales and experience with consultative selling.
• experience with building and/or working with a distributors network.
• knowledge and experience with connectivity and consumer electronics will be seen as a plus.
• familiarity with different (audio-video) retail chains and/or with distribution channels will be seen as a plus.
• an academic degree for example in business, commerce or technology.
• fluent language skills in Turkish and English.
