Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced construction manager responsible in planning directing and overseeing   all Construction aspects field construction teams within the scope of each project. Candidate will manage and lead the field project delivery teams through construction phase including risk, financial and client satisfaction.

Candidate should posses strong organizational, interpersonal, Culturally appropriate written and Communication skills.

Candidate should posses Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Candidate should be good physique, impressive personality with strong leadership, team building and team motivating skills.

Candidate must have strong technical skills.

Forward thinking, Flexible and Responsive to changing demands.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferably from ODTU, BOGAZICI University.
• Minimum 15 to 20 years of work experience in Building Construction.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of all disciplines of engineering.
• Basic Computer Knowledge & Web browsing.
• Three different companies references including consultants, clients and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Leading and ensuring the safety procedures are being implemented and followed at all phases of a project in accordance with safety program procedure and the Management PM/CM Manual.
• Responsible for the day to day management of the field construction activities at each team
• Coordinating technical and administrative support to field team
• Managing Consultants Supervisor team.
• Leading the monitoring coordination and evaluation of key field project activities and construction phases Reviewing and Implementing the change management procedure consistent with program wide policies and procedure.
• Anticipating potential schedule or priority delays and initiate plans for alternative actions.
• Training, mentoring and developing staff.
• Leading and ensuring the QA/QC procedures are being implemented and followed at all phases of a project in accordance with quality assurance program procedures and the Management PM/CM Manual.
• Leading implementation and assimilation of the program operational procedure, control and administrative system into the field project delivery teams.
• Reviewing comments and approving Contractors & Consultant's Reports (Daily, Weekly and Monthly)
• Participating in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
• Providing Senior field Construction Manager with appropriate information through regular and ad-hoc briefings.
• Undertaking and completing other tasks as may be assigned by the Senior Construction Manager or designee.
• Monitoring and coordinating budget and schedule
• Knowledge of all kind of scaffolding using Doka or equal system. Knowledge of construction all types of equipments.
• Completing the project start from Mobilization,  handover of the project and Demobilization
• Knowledge and preparing site mobilization plans. erection of tower crane at location logistic site access for Pumps, Trucks, Mixers. placing boom distribution of concrete etc.
• Planning  water supply, power supply sources & distribution for site using.
• Knowledge of formworks scaffolding, planning types of form work required for columns, shear wall, RC walls. Selecting type of scaffolding required quantities accessories & assembly drawings calculations.
•  Allocation of steel & carpentry yards and Equipments.
