İş Tanımı

This position is responsible for the oversight of the hotel's general ledger operations and supports the hotel Director of Finance. Additionally, this person will be responsible for efficiently running the Finance department in line with Hyatt Corporate standards while meeting guest and owner expectations. 

Position Responsibilities/ Essential Functions Conducts timely and accurate month-end closing and submission of month-end reporting, Account Payable, Account Receivable, bank reconciliation, forecasting and balance sheet reconciliation. Ensure timely and accurate submission of corporate reporting requirements and management reports.Participate in monthly financial review and review preliminary financial statements with Director of FinanceReview PayrollSupervise Finance staff including coaching and counseling associates to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures, training and evaluating performance of staff.Assist in overseeing hotel on-site Finance functions to ensure proper fiscal management, timely and accurate reporting and analysis for the hotel.
This responsibility also includes hotel financial planning, budgeting, accounting and cash managementSystems administration, G/L account reconciliations, budget preparations, inventories, monthly closings and full P&L responsibility.Assist with completing the year-end audit process. Review and approve all reconciliations and audit work papers. Participate in and respond to auditor requests to ensure total hotel compliance.Help prepare all monthly and annual financial statements. Investigate, review and analyze the variance explanations, involving the department staff in this process. Take initiative to manage trouble shooting for respective cost controls and revenue enhancementAssist Director of Finance with special reporting and analysis projects.Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the jobConduct or ensure all Training and Evaluations are completed as required by HyattCoach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt Service Standards and ProceduresComplete various additional tasks and assignments as needed.

Qualifications;
Accounting degree or ACCA certification is required.
2 years or more of progressive Accounting experience, preferably in a hotelExperience supervising staff members is preferred
Prior MICROS, Hyperion and Hyatt systems (Opera and PMS) , Oracle expertise desiredKnowledge of Payroll and Pension functions and procedures Proficient knowledge of computer applications Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
Attention to detail.Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information.
High level of accuracy and efficiency.
Courteous, professional manner, strong customer service skills.
Must comply with all company and financial regulations.
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgroundsMust possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English Must be a team player
