Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay Bodrum is looking for a candidate for ''Front Office Agent'' position.

LOCATION: Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay Bodrum.

DEPARTMENT: Front Office.

START: 01.04.2015

SCOPE

The incumbent in this position is responsible for checking-in and checking-out Hotel guests in a friendly and caring manner according to the procedures and standards. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handles Guest check-in and check-out procedures in coordination with Housekeeping department
• Handles cashier transactions.
• Handles guests requests and telephone calls.
• Has thorough knowledge on rooms, location, view, product, features, amenities and must be able to answer all related questions.
• Follows up group arrivals and departures/ daily departures / late departures / early arrivals / room blocking and takes immediate action.
• Responsible for preparing the daily report, attending to daily handover and monthly departmental meetings.
• Responsible for covering AM / PM and Night Shift on rotation basis.

COMPETENCIES

• Preferably a University Graduate or student with a specialization in Tourism and Hotel Management.
• Previous experience in Front Office, preferably in a 5* Hotel.
• Excellent oral and written skills in Turkish and English.
• Additional language is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Proficiency in OPERA PMS.
• Working knowledge of room reservation procedures
• Excellent planning, organization and communication skills.
• Good team-worker.
• Guest service oriented.
• Friendly and caring attitude.
• Flexibility in working in AM, PM and night shifts.
